Jetstar Paint Schemes

The Jetstar Prototype - N329J - wore many paint schemes.  Here are some.



First Flight - Bare Aluminum with Lockheed in red -  4 Sept 1957




Bare aluminum with red-outlined white cheat stripes - arrow on top
This paint job was applied immediately before a USA 4-corners promo flight 17 June 1958.




Bare aluminum with a white top - date unknown



Day-Glo crazy with a white top - date unknown



White top with red outlined blue stripes - arrow on bottom 28 April 1962




Last Lockheed paint scheme - Totem-like



Current paint scheme - B.C.I.T. colors - Black arrowhead changed to olive green
