 Standard DC-7  Modern CV-990  TIA Super Connie Flying the Line with Aloha I spent 6 years as Boeing Rep at Aloha Airlines in Honolulu. Aloha averaged 3600 revenue departures/month. That amounted to approx 260,000 departures during my tenure. Here are some views flying the line.   Departing Honolulu  Diamond Head and Waikiki   Arriving Molokai   Molokai -- Gate 1; the only Gate  Father Damien's former Leper Colony   Kahului, Maui   Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea on the Big Island. Largest active volcanoes in the world. Two highest mountains in the world. Rising 30,610 feet from their base on the sea floor.  Kona - sitting in the black lava flows   Hilo - the green side of the Big Island   Lihue, Kauai - the Garden Isle   Aloha's 6 737s averaged 20 flights per day each.
